The ‘Evolution’ module consists of phylogenetic, sequence identity and
Ka/
Ks analysis tools.
The
phylogenetic tool provides the phylogenetic relationship of candidate
flowering genes between multiple species. Furthermore, we provide the phylogenetic analysis function for the
gene family in phylogenetic module. The shared homologous genes can be accessed according to the positions of
candidate flowering genes in the phylogenetic tree.
In the
sequence identity tool, users can view the detailed information of
every
individual candidate flowering gene and perform gene collinearity analysis using a multiple sequence alignment
viewer. Sequence
logos are provided across the top of the graphic, wherein the height of the letter corresponds to the amount of
conservation of the corresponding amino acid.
The
Ka/
Ks ratio was used to diagnose the form of sequence evolution. The
Ka/Ks module provides the comparison of
Ka/
Ks of
candidate
flowering genes between 112 species. We also provides multiple dynamic charts for users to visualize and
investigate the
Ka/
Ks distribution.
